Anyone else? Just me? I am so thankful that we have clothes to wear – but ugh laundry. That’s another one of those things I thought would be easy to keep up with as a stay at home mom. Boy! Was I ever wrong!
Getting clothes clean? Usually pretty easy. Getting them folded and put away? Takes days (if it even gets done). My goal this summer is to clean out our closets to lessen the amount of clothes we own. There is no reason to have as much as we do! It’s time to declutter.
This is how our souls are too, isn’t it? I need to take time to stop and declutter and clean my heart and soul. Psalm 51:10 states ““Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (ESV) Occasionally, we need to clean out our hearts of things we may have been holding on to.
